Block Work Accessories
USES
Just like Plastering Accessories, Block work Accessories are used to strengthen the cohesion of the building against natural and unnatural forces that affect the building. These accessories protect blocks and buildings from earthquakes, temperature fluctuations and many other variables at a price that is not very major in your project.

Types of Accessories
Corrugated Angle
It is used to anchor a block wall onto a slab facing.
Block Reinforcement Mesh
Their primary usage is to prevent cracking.
Twisted Fish Tail
It holds double walls together. The twist in the middle prevents the tie from corrosion by letting water drip freely.
Butterfly Wall Tie
It is for holding double walls together. The minimum thickness is 3 mm.
Adjustable Wall Tie
Device for connecting a masonry leaf across a cavity to another masonry leaf or to a structural frame.
Head Restraint
Head Restraints provide the necessary restraint to the top of masonry walls. They allow for vertical movement to accommodate shrinkage or thermal movement of the wall or structural frame, while restraining wind loads.
Partition Top Rod Anchor
Partition Top Anchors have been developed to provide lateral shear resistance at the upper limit of masonry walls. They permit vertical deflection of the slab above, without transferring compressive loads to the masonry wall below.
Debonding Cavity Block Tie
This tie will protect block walls against wind loads. The sleeve keeps a space for expansion and contraction.
Debonding Control Joints Flat Tie
They are used the same way as the item before it but mainly on movement joints.
Hammer On Section
This fixing is simply hammered onto the flange. It can be utilized either on a column with a tie or on a beam with an internal head restraint.
Partition Angle
Partition Top angle prevents a horizontal movement of the masonry wall. Supports the horizontal force on top of the block work due to human impact or wind pressure.
Z-Type Wire Tie
“Z” Wire Tie is used for tying masonry to masonry ( Composite Wall Only ). Not to be used in walls with air space and or insulation. Diameter = 4mm, 5mm
R2-Type Wire Tie
This is a brick to block wall tie.
Steel Lintels
They are cost and time efficient. Finish your window or door lintel in minutes. you can even apply plaster on it.
Block Ladder (Ladder Type)
Brick and block masonry are reinforced with ladder and truss types to increase the tensile strength of walls that are subjected to wind and seismic activity.
